About

Dad and MomSMPastor Marlon and Joy Mielke

The pastor is Rev. Marlon Mielke who graduated from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College and Central Seminary.  While at Seminary he married his wife Joy.  God has blessed their family with five boys who are currently serving God in ministry.

Before following God’s call to First Baptist Milltown in 1998, Pastor Mielke served in the pastorate in Minnesota for nearly 20 years.  Under his leadership, God has graciously grown the church and allowed for many new ministries and opportunities.

He has also been able to serve God through serving on the administration of many other ministries such as: New Testament Association of Independent Baptist Churches, Men for Christ, Camp Shiloh, Central Seminary, and Wisconsin Fellowship of Baptist Churches.

His wife Joy is an invaluable asset to the ministry.  Her expertise and experience in music allows for services that are God focused and uplifting.  In addition to her involvement in the music ministry, Joy also invests in group and one-on-one women’s discipleship ministries.

Our World View in Regards to Israel

Our church passed unanimously a statement of support for the nation of Israel and opposition to Replacement Theology at our annual administration meeting on February 7, 2016. The church does not replace the nation of Israel as is clear in the Scriptures. Romans 11:22-26 is one passage that teaches this truth. Our church teaches a Dispensational view of history as opposed to Covenant Theology which replaces Israel with the church. For our doctrinal statement, check out our complete Doctrinal Statement.
